Cancale a town of history...
Delimiting by the West Bay of the Mount-Saint-Michel, Cancale profits from a position advanced on the coast and owes the majority of its resources with the sea. But, less privileged than the ports close to the Emerald coast, its current notoriety was harder to conquer.
Its inhabitants (homage to famous Cancalaises), courageous and voluntary had to also fight against the elements and the various invasions (some having left some traces in the aspect and the regional patois).
